Technology
Sakuin® processes financial data from more than 30,000 companies, which are listed on 70 worldwide leading stock exchanges. Tens of thousands of data points are available for every company: balance sheet data, trading data, consensus estimates, analyst ratings, etc. The data history sometimes stretches back more than 30 years. In total, more than one trillion data points are processed and dynamically updated on each trading day. Despite the considerable depth of the data, indices can still be created and adjusted in no time. And the current version of the Sakuin software already uses machine learning and pattern recognition to better assess and validate trends.

About us
With the aim of automating the creation of stock indices for the asset investments of family members, the single family office of a German busines family initiated the development of a software for ‘custom indexing‘.
It then took more than 1,000 developer days to create the Sakuin® software, led by Cembranaut GmbH in Munich, a venture capital firm in the sole ownership of the above-mentioned family. The Sakuin® software has been available to interested professional investors since September 2023. Sakuin is the Japanese word for index.
